Coronavirus, Mayor in southern Italy protests against the exodus from the north: “Stop right now!”

The Mayor of Messina, Cateno De Luca, went to the port and to the railway station in order to protest against the arrival citizens heading to Sicily, as well as to criticize the measures adopted by the Ministry of the Interior, which does not check or give any criterion. In the meanwhile some Sicilian citizens are locked in Villa San Giovanni, waiting for the ferry to leave. The mayor also went to a old age home were 20 old people came out to be positive and are now locked in with the caregivers. De Luca signed an anti-coronavirus ordinance for the institution of a database containing information on the passengers heading to Sicily.
