Dilaga protesta degli studenti pro-Gaza, occupato campus a Bruxelles

Dopo Amsterdam, manifestazioni anche all'Université Libre Bruxelles, 8 mag. (askanews) - Le proteste filo-palestinesi sono arrivate anche a Bruxelles; decine di studenti dell'Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) hanno occupato un edificio del campus per chiedere di tagliare i legami con Israele per l'offensiva a Gaza. Hanno appeso bandiere palestinesi ed esposto cartelli che invitano alla fine delle ostilità. L'azione è iniziata il 7 maggio, mentre le proteste studentesche, sulla scia di quelle negli Stati Uniti, si sono diffuse in tutta l'Europa occidentale, provocando scontri e decine di arresti. Ad Amsterdam centinaia di manifestanti hanno ripreso a protestare intorno al campus dopo che la notte precedente la polizia è stata ripresa mentre prendeva a manganellate alcuni studenti e distruggeva le loro tende dopo che si erano rifiutati di sgomberare.
