L'arrivo di Biden a Roma con la First Lady Jill

Atterrato a Fiumicino, scende dall'Air Force One Milano, 29 ott. (askanews) - Joe Biden accompagnato dalla First Lady Jill è atterrato a Roma per partecipare agli incontri del G20 e incontrare Papa Francesco. L'udienza concessa in Vaticano è quella al secondo presidente Usa cattolico dopo John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Il presidente Usa, giunto a Roma per il G20 di sabato, incontrerà anche il presidente della Repubblica, Sergio Mattarella e il presidente del Consiglio, Mario Draghi. Il capo di stato americano proseguirà poi il suo tour europeo in Scozia, dove parteciperà alla grande conferenza internazionale sul clima (COP26) a Glasgow.
